Terms of Service
Last updated: August 18, 2026. Please read these terms before using WalletExchange.
What WalletExchange is
WalletExchange is a comparison and interface layer. We show you live quotes from independent, third-party cryptocurrency exchange providers (currently ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, and StealthEX, with more added over time) so you can compare what each would actually deliver before choosing one. WalletExchange itself does not operate an exchange, hold an order book, or set exchange rates.
Who actually executes your exchange
- Providers execute the tradeWhen you choose to proceed, the exchange itself is created and executed by the third-party provider you selected, not by WalletExchange. That provider’s own terms of service apply to your exchange in addition to these terms, and you should review them before proceeding.
- WalletExchange does not custody your assetsWalletExchange never holds, controls, or has access to your cryptocurrency, your wallet, or your private keys at any point. Funds you send go directly to a deposit address generated by the provider for that specific exchange.
- Provider decisions are outside our controlAvailability, identity-verification (KYC) requirements, transaction limits, and compliance decisions are each provider’s own, made under their own policies and applicable law. WalletExchange does not control and cannot override these decisions.
Risks you accept by using WalletExchange
- Cryptocurrency transactions can be irreversibleOnce a blockchain transaction is confirmed, it generally cannot be reversed, cancelled, or recalled — by WalletExchange, by the provider, or by anyone else.
- Rates can changeFloating-rate quotes are estimates and can change between the time you see a quote and the time your deposit is received and processed. Fixed-rate quotes, where offered by a provider, are locked only for the window and conditions that provider specifies.
- You are responsible for the details you enterYou are responsible for checking that the destination address and network you provide are correct before confirming an exchange. Sending assets to an incorrect address or an incompatible network can result in permanent loss of funds that no party can recover.
See our Risk Disclosure for a fuller discussion of these and other risks.
Availability
WalletExchange’s own availability, and the availability of any given provider through WalletExchange, may vary by jurisdiction and can change without notice as providers adjust their own regional coverage or compliance posture. We do not guarantee that WalletExchange or any specific provider will be available at all times, in all locations, or for all asset pairs.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as WalletExchange’s provider set, features, or applicable requirements change. Continued use of WalletExchange after an update means you accept the revised terms. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at legal@walletexchange.com.
